Same As Sister (S.A.S.) will be co-facilitating an exploratory choreographic intensive, REIMAGINING MADNESS THROUGH REENACTMENT, with disability arts advisor Rachel da Silveira Gorman as part of Workman Arts’ Winter 2024 Course Programming.

Inspired by their new work-in-progress, Upstairs, In Our Bedroom, and ongoing research on the deconstruction and reimagining of representations of race and mental illness from popular cinema and television, they will guide a cohort of BIPOC participants through the creation of an episodic portrayal of madness referencing lived, historical and/or invented experiences.
